First post

My family thought it would be a good idea if we all started blogs so our aunts, uncles, grandparents, and other family members could keep tabs on us and all that.  So here it is.

I'll try to limit it to major things, but I'll probably post some minor things to keep things interesting and give people a taste of my daily life outside of celebrations and catastrophes.

Speaking of celebrations and catastrophes, I celebrated the 26th anniversary of my birth yesterday and managed to fracture my femur last weekend in the wee hours of Saturday the 20th.  I'll take some pictures of my leg and post them on here - the bruising and Frankenstein-esque staples in my leg are pretty gruesome.  And I'll tell the silly story of how I sustained the injury.  It is a humorous tale of gravity, desolation, human compassion, and groovy pharmaceuticals.

Until next time...

I can't wait to hear the thrilling tale about your injuries and all the follow-up (physical therapy, etc.). Bring on the photos - I'm not into gruesome, but am always interested in the medical stuff. How are you feeling anyway? And Happy Birthday! Ah, the ripe old age of 26. Still fairly young by today's standards, but had you lived a few hundred years ago, you would be considered ANCIENT. I almost called to sing happy birthday to you, but I didn't want to make you hobble to the phone. How did you celebrate? You probably danced, right? ;) Hope it was good, no matter what you did.
